Section 01
By downloading, installing, or using ReceiptPlus ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any future revisions to these Terms.
Section 02
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where applicable law does not permit full exclusion, the developer's total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (i) the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months, or (ii) CAD $10.00.

The App uses artificial intelligence and optical character recognition (OCR) to scan and interpret receipts. These technologies are not infallible and may produce errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.
You must always review and confirm the accuracy of any scanned data. The developer makes no representations regarding AI-generated results and expressly disclaims all liability for errors in scanned or processed data.
Section 06
All intellectual property rights in the App are owned by or licensed to the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App.
Section 07
The App may rely on third-party services such as cloud storage, AI APIs, or authentication providers. The developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
Use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
Section 08
The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice and without liability.
These Terms may also be revised at any time; continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
Section 09
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Section 10
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
