We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide ReceiptPlus's features:

Receipt images may be transmitted to secure third-party AI APIs for text extraction. These processors do not persistently retain your images beyond the processing window.
However, the developer cannot guarantee the security practices of all third parties and disclaims liability for their conduct.

Data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure with reasonable security measures including encryption in transit and at rest where supported.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. The developer disclaims liability for unauthorized access, data breaches, or data loss beyond our reasonable control.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only:

Data is retained while your account is active. To request deletion, contact support@receiptplus.ca.
Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

ReceiptPlus is governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer's liability for any privacy breach or unauthorized data disclosure is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
You acknowledge that no system is completely secure and you use the App at your own risk.

We may update this policy at any time. The revised policy will be posted in the App with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
